I heard a heart-stopping crash and turned around to find that Eli managed to get his little paws on a bit of garland that I thought was safely out of reach. Pulling on the garland brought three glass jars of ornaments crashing down. Fortunately, he wasn't hurt but it took years off my life.
The rest of Christmas 2010 didn't get much better. Eli was sick with a cold that actually turned out to be RSV and an ear infection. He reverted to sleeping like a newborn and Paul and I were ridiculously grouchy and sleep-deprived. On the bright side, Daddy and Eli got matching Converse from Santa.
Ugh RSV. That is NO fun. Cute shoes though!
ReplyDeleteThose shoes are adorable. I can't believe your little babe is so big already. Aren't babies supposed to make time go slower?
